When Mummy said this is a once in a life time experience, I'm not exaggerating. Disney's Lion King Musical is a world-class production and they have performed around the globe. They are looking for a boy to play Simba. Initially, I just wanted you to go for the fun and experience. I couldn't believe my eyes to see how composed you were in front of the three judges on a big stage. You introduced yourself and sang the song, "My Favorite Things" so well that the judges asked you to come back for the 2nd audition on the spot! To be frank, my heart was pounding while watching you from the audience seat. You were Fantastic! Special thanks to your Godma who helped you practised the song.
Though you are talented, there are many talented boys around and some are more talented and experienced than you. They are all vying for the Simba role. Thus, you need to put in the 10,000 hours to polish your singing and dancing. The moment you slacker, you give other contestants a greater chance to win. If you decide to do it, give it your best, nothing less.
Coincidentally, your 2nd audition falls on my birthday. I've reserved my birthday wish for you. I wish you will get the Simba role. Having said that, in the event you are not selected, you still gain alot in the entire process. You gained the 10,000 hours and the experience. The next time a new Musical such as Aang come to Singapore, you will be more confident and prepared to win the role of Szuko! Have fun and enjoy every time you perform on stage.
