Dearest Ashley,
Today is the 1st day of school and Mummy is as excited as you. On 31 Dec, we did a review of 2010 using SWOT - Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities/Goals and Threats/Distractions. 2010 had been a Great Year for us:
1. You got into the Finals of your first audition, the Lion King Musical Audition
2. You got your first Chinese Musical role, the Singing Dog in Wei Wei Kang Kang Li Xian Ji
3. You came in 1st in your first Pei Hwa Got Talent Contest
4. You showed improvement in school, academically as well as attitude so much so that you were selected to be a Prefect in P4.
5. You helped Mummy in Our Fun Place, leading the singing and dancing and even got your friends to enroll in our holiday programmes, before/after study group and other enrichment programmes.
Though you did not meet the goal you set for yourself in the beginning of 2010, you were one step closer. That's Success.
Going forward into 2011, Tommorrow will be even better. You will achieve even better results because you will pay more attention in class, be a better role model in school and do your best in everything you choose to work on. Remember, talk is cheap. Action counts. Make that Difference! You go, my Boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
